Boozy Blackberry Puree
A versatile boozy puree to use in desserts or drinks. Add to buttercream for a berry indulgent frosting.

- 6 oz Blackberries (fresh or frozen)
- 4 oz Gin Or spirit of choice (rum, bourbon)
Add blackberries and gin to a heavy bottom saucepan.
Simmer on medium until fruit is soft about 5 minutes.
Add to a blender and puree until smooth.
Strain in a storage container and let cool.
